DescriptionThis position is within the Multimedia Products Group designing ICs for audio, video, etc.
The emphasis for designs will be on op-amp/comparator skills, BW up to 100MHz. 12-bit or better ADC
and DAC design experience is nice to have. The successful candidate will be involved in research, definition, design, simulation, layout supervision, characterization and release to production of high-performance state of the art BiCMOS integrated circuits in the following areas:
LDOs
LED drivers
DC-DC switching converters
Hot-swap controller
Low Power switching regulator
Including the following functional blocks:
LDOs
Bandgaps and references
Operational Amplifiers
Temperature sensors
High speed comparator
Analog-to-digital and digital-to-analog converters
Interfaces
Charge pumps
Drivers
Requirements:
BSEE degree with 10+ years experience in analog or mixed-signal IC development or MSEE/PhD degree with 5+ years of experience in analog or mixed-signal IC development
Hands-on design experience with BiCMOS/CMOS mixed-voltage custom circuit designs
Must possess strong intuitive and analytical understanding of transistor-level design and simulation
Must understand placement and layout issues with respect to mixed-signal IC
